GENESIS CHAPTER 6

We learned from Genesis 3:13-16, that satan, in his role as the serpent, beguiledread that, wholly seduced, i.e., Strongs Hebrew word number: H5377, - נָשָׁא, - nâshâ', pronounced - naw-shawי, and means: A primitive root, to lead astray, that is, (mentally) to delude, or (morally) to seduce: beguile, deceive, X greatly, X utterly. - Total KJV occurrences: 15. and Strongs Greek word number: G1818, - ἐξαπατάω, - exapataō, pronounced - ex-ap-at-ah,-o, and means: From G1537 and G538, to seduce wholly: - beguile, deceive. Total KJV occurrences: 5.Eve and the results of that seduction produced Cain as read in Genesis 4:1-2.

Genesis 4:17-24 then gave us Cains genealogy. We also saw that Cain was NOT in Adams genealogy, as Adams genealogy didnt start until Genesis 5, and as we saw, Cain was NOT mentioned anywhere in Adams genealogy. We also saw that Abel was not mentioned in Adams genealogy, and the reason for that is because Abel had no progeny. Adams genealogy started with his second son with Eve Seth.

Genesis 5, brought us the genealogy or GENERATIONS OF ADAM, i.e., the continuation of the seedline through which Father Himself will come in the flesh as His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ. While we were reading Genesis 5, we also learned of Lamechs son Noah or comforter. He was so named because, he was a type of comforter; because, it was through him that his three sons and their wives, along with two of each race, and two of each breed of animal will be saved when Father sends the five month flood upon the earth to destroy the offspring of the angels and flesh women that well learn about in this chapter: Genesis 6.

With that introduction being said, lets go to Father and ask Him for His Blessings on our Study of His Word: Father, I come to You right now and ask that You Oh LORD Lead me and Guide me as I try and teach Your Word, dont allow me to mis-teach or mis-lead Your Children. We, Father, also come to You as a group who desire to Learn Your Word, to thank You for inviting us to Your table in order that we might be able to partake of and receive Your Spiritual Meat, and Father, as we prepare to dine on the sustenance which sustains our inner man, we ask that You Oh LORD open our ears and eyes, that we might be able to hear and see your Truths, open our hearts and minds and prepare us in order that we may receive Your Truth. We Pray for Your Understanding of Your Word, we seek Your Knowledge in Your Word, and most importantly Father, we Pray for and desire Your Wisdom from Your Word, in Jesus Precious name we Pray, thank You Father, Amen.

Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass, that when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, that daughters were born unto them,   —>   The racesthe gentiles, i.e., those who are not in the seedline to Father coming in the flesh as His only begotten Son: Jesus Christ, those who He Created on the 6th dayof Genesis 1:26-31 are populating the earth; as are Adams and Seths descendants, and also Cains and genealogies.

Here in this verse, the Chronology has been brought up to date to Noahs days, and also here, the history takes backward, not forward.

…men…=Singular, with the ArticleArticles comprise a group of exactly three words: a, an, and the. This group is part of a larger group called determiners, which also do not overlap with particles. Articles are used in front of nouns to shape how specific or general the sense of the following noun should be.=The Man Adameth ha adamsee also Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendix14.

…earth…=h'ădâmâh, i.e., the ground.

…them…= i.e., Adam and Eve, as in Genesis 5:2.

6:2 The fallen angels: sons of God.
1A2
Genesis 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives all of which the chose.   —>   To understand who these sons of God are, lets turn to Job 1, which reads: Job 1:6 Now there came a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and satan came also among them.   —>   These sons of God are the angels, the same ones with whom Father is speaking with in Genesis 1:25-31, when He says …let us make man in our image.. We also can read of these angels here from this verse in Jude 1:6, which reads: Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.   —>   This is also why Enoch as we read in Genesis 5:24 Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.   —>   Enoch was teaching of these fallen angels and what they were doing.

What were they doing? Fathers Word states it pretty clearly in this verse they saw the daughters of man, that they were fair, and they took them wives. Now, you may wonder how this can be; but, in reality, it is quite easy to understand when you apply common sense. We look like the angels because we were once these sons of God in the First Earth Age, and we will be them again when we leave these flesh bodies and return Home to Father either through death in the flesh, or at Jesus return for His Second Advent. These had refused their opportunity to be born in the fleshstated as again by Jesus in John 3:3but, instead chose not to be born of woman, and as Jude told us, kept not their first estate, followed after satan, leaving their habitation in order to come to this Earth Agethink dimensionsso that they could try and interrupt the seedline through which Father Himself would be born in the flesh through the Adamic seedline.

Also, we know that as the Israelites wandered the wilderness for those thirty 38 years, unable to enter into the Promised Land because of their unbelief, while they were in the wilderness they ate mannaangels food. If angels have and eat food, that means that they must have bodies to be able to receive food. We also know that when the angels came to visit Abraham on their way to Sodom and Gomorrah, they partook of human food.

So, this mating between the angels and flesh women should really be of no surprise to anyone.

Something else to consider, Jesus warned us in Matthew 24 and Luke 17 that the angels will be coming back just prior to His return, and Paul also warned us in I Corinthians 11:10 that because of the angels coming back a woman ought to have power over her head, and that power is Jesus. What Paul was telling us, was that we need to be well versed in Fathers Word to know what was going to transpire at the end of the Age, and the only way to do that, is by being sealed in your mind with Fathers Word.

6:3 Fallen Adam, and his years. The total 930,
                                    and the last 120.
1A3
Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.    —>   Man=As used here in this verse is with the Article as it is in verses 6:1 and 6:2 above; and as such, is The Man Adam eth ha adam.

he=Emphatic, again with the Article, i.e., The Man Adam.

Also=I.e., The Man Adam, as well as othersNot menfor if so, as well as what?.

Is flesh=If taken as a Verb; then, in their erring. shagag Dr. Bullingers Appendix44.12 in the Hebrew, thus Adam had become like the others men 'ı̂ysh.

Yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years=Adams days, the Adamic line. See Dr. Bullingers Appendix24. 120 years This fixes the Date: Anno MundiA.M.930-120=810. The B.C. date being 3194, as given. Here, Father has just shortened mansboth the sixth day created 'ı̂ysh - the races, and the eighth day formed The maneth-ha-adhamtime in the flesh from one thousand years to one hundred and twenty years.

In Genesis 3:22, Father had taken away the Tree of Life: Jesus, thereby requiring man to come to Christ in order to have salvation, thereby also requiring Himself to be born in the flesh. But again, this should be of no surprise as; the Word was written from the beginning, and it was Fathers Plan from the beginning.

6:4-7 The progeny of the fallen angels,
                                  and their threatened destruction.

Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days: and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.   —>   Giants=In the Strongs Concordance this is Hebrew word number: H5303, - נפלss or נפיל, - nephı̂y or nephil, pronounced - nef-eelי or nef-eelי, and means: From H5307; properly, a feller, that is, a bully or tyrant: - giant.. So now lets look at H5307: H5307, - נפל, - nâphal, pronounced - naw-falי, and means: A primitive root; to fall, in a great variety of applications (intransitively or causatively, literally or figuratively): - be accepted, cast (down, self, [lots] , out) , cease, die, divide (by lot) , (let) fail, (cause to, let, make, ready to) fall (away, down, -en, -ing) , fell (-ing) , fugitive, have [inheritance] , inferior, be judged [by mistake for H6419] , lay (along) , (cause to) lie down, light (down) , be (X hast) lost, lying, overthrow, overwhelm, perish, present (-ed, -Ing) , (make to) rot, slay, smite out, X surely, throw down.. These giantsangel and flesh woman hybrid offspringare the mighty men and in the Strongs Concordance, this is Hebrew word number: H1368, - גּבּרss or גּבּור, - gibbôr or gibbôr, pronounced - ghib-boreי or ghib-boreי, and means: Intensive from the same as H1397; powerful; by implication warrior, tyrant: - champion, chief, X excel, giant, man, mighty (man, one) , strong (man) , valiant man.. Remember (1) Goliath who David slew; (2) His brother who had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot; (3) Og, king of Bashan who had a bed that was 9 cubits long and 4 wideCompanion Bible appendix51; III. 2. 1. 1.in other words, Ogs bed was approximately 18 feet long and 8.5 feet wide. I named these three just to name a few, but there were many otherssee also Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices 23 and 25.

These fallen angels came and mated with all the races of the world; but, they were mainly interested in the Adamic seedline in order to try and stop Father from coming in the flesh, and thereby trying to prevent mans salvation.

We also see from Job 1:6 and other places, that there were no women feminine bodies in the spiritual bodies, as all the verses read sons of God. The female feminine body is in this age, to bring forth all of Fathers children in this age, as well as the male masculine, but in the eternity, we will all be the bride or wife of Christ, which leads to believe we will all be feminine in nature.

…and also after that…=This is in reference to the time after Noah,’s flood. There was a second irruption of the fallen angels and another attempt on the Adamic seedline after the flood. We can see these in Genesis 12:6 as well as Genesis 13:7 and many other places; again, see the Promised Land after Father led the Israelites up out of their bondage to the Egyptians, there was Goliath, his brother Og, and others. The seven nations Father wanted the Israelites to utterly destroy, and can be read of in Deuteronomy 7:1 and following.

…renown=The Hebrew word number Dr. Strong applied to this word, is the same as he applied to Noahs son Shem, Hebrew word number: H8034. The reason he did this was because, in the definition of that Hebrew word, we find that part of that definition include the words: famous, name, and renown. Dr. Bullinger notes in his Companion Bible the following concerning this: Heb, The men of the Name. The heroes of Greek mythology. The remains of primitive truth, corrupted in transmission..

Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was evil continually.   —>   Sadly, the same thing is going on today. Have you looked around lately or seen the news, either on TV, the papers, or the internet? Ugliness every where you turn; look at the garbage they put on TV now-a-days and call it family entertainment. Have you seen the advertisements for ABCsDisneysline-up? Shows like Desperate House Wives, Cougar Town, Pretty little liars,, etc.. Oh, dont get me wrong; as it isnt only on TV, its in the church houses as well: look at reverend Wright who led president Obama for 20 years God Damn the USA theres good preaching for yousaid in jest; what about the priests who prey on the children nice to be able to go to church and get molested; and if you want more recent, what about the pope throwing Rowan County, KY, Clerk Kim Davis under the bus, by saying she was wrong in her standing up for (1) Kentucky Law defining marriage between 1 man and 1 woman; and (2) saying that the Word of Father is wrong; because, Fathers Word declares that homosexuality is an abomination to Him.

Yeah, we are close to His return as; mans heart is only evil continually.

So why is it so evil at this stage of the age in our time 2015? Its to prepare us for what is coming, when the angels return as Jesus said they were Mathew 24:32. What is the subject of Matthew 24? Jesus return; and how it will be just prior to. So, lets turn there and read from Matthew 24 and listen in to Jesus as He explains it. Matthew 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:   —>   At the beginning of this chapter, Jesus and His disciples had just come out from teaching in the temple, and His disciples Peter, James, John, and Andrew, asked Him privately Matthew 24:3 And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world?    —>    Jesus disciples too wanted to know, and Father likewise, wants us to know what shall come to pass at the end of this Age; Jesus answers: [24:33] So likewise ye when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. —>  All the things that Jesus had told them of prior to the verses we are now reading in Matthew 24, verses v24:4-31, are going to come to pass before Jesus returns. [24:34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.   —>   What generation is this that Jesus is talking about? The generation of the fig Tree. That generation, when both the good and the evil figs known collectively as Israelnot the House of Israel, as they are still scattered; but, the House of Judah, made up of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, with a sprinkling in of Manasseh and Levi, plus those who claim they are Jews but do liehave been established as a Nation, which took place in the year 1948. [24:35] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.   —>   All the things that Jesus has told His disciples here in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 shall come to pass before He returns. [24:36] But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.   —>   Only Father Himself knows that exact instant that Jesus will return to start His 1,000 year Millennial reign. Though we dont know the instant, He has told us through His Word, the signs to look for, and to be prepared, and we are in that generation, and the time is at hand. [24:37] But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.      We are reading here in 2 of these times of Noe. Who is Noe? That is the Greek name of Noah. What was going on during Noahs time? We're reading it here, and also, Jesus made this Book of Genesis and more specifically this chapter, part of the New Testament, and tells us that the angels will be here giving and taking the daughters of man in marriage listen: [24:38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,   —>   And just like in Noahs day, we too are about to face a flood; only, our flood is a flood of lies and deception by none other than satan himself. Likewise also, as Noahs flood was of 5 months in duration, Jesus tells us in Mark 13:20, Revelation 9:5 and several other places, that our floodsatans time on earth, when he is kicked out of heaven by Michael and his angels in Revelation 12:7-10, known as the tribulationtoo will only be five months in length and our personal tribulation will only be for 10 days as Jesus tells John in Revelation 2:10. [24:39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.   —>   Both, the angels and our flood is coming are you prepared?
1A6
Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.   —>   More pointing to the fact that flesh man is made in the image and appearance of Father and the angels Father has a heart, eyes, mind and other extremities and features as well.

Even though He knew it was going to happen because it is written, it still saddened Him deeply that His creation flesh manno gender slightedhad accepted these fallen angels when they had come to this Age to seduce them.
1A7
Genesis 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth Me that I have made them.    —>   It did grieve Father enough that He did destroy almost all of flesh man in order to destroy these hybrid gibbor as well see when He sends the flood; but, He did not totally destroy all flesh man because also as well see, He saved alive Noah and his wife, their three sons and their son's wives, two of all the races of flesh man, and then also two of every beast and fowl of the air and such.

6:8 Noah, and his possession of grace.
1A8
Genesis 6:8 But Noah (rest; and, rest) (noי-akh) found grace in the eyes of the LORD.   —>   We know from Fathers Word Acts 10:34, that He is no respecter of persons. So then, how and why did Noah find grace in Fathers eyes? What was it that Noah did to receive this grace or unmerited favor from Father?
Noah
Noah=Noah was the son of Lamech, and father to Jepeth, Ham and Shem; Noah was also the tenth from Adam through the prosperity of Seth and also in the seed-line through which Father would come in the flesh as His only begotten Son: Jesus Christ. Noah as we read in Genesis 6:9, was Perfect in his Generations, and he walked with God meaning that: (1) he had not messed with the fallen angels; (2) his blood-line was pure; and (3) he was upright and righteous in Fathers eyes. It was for this reason that Father chose Noah to build the Ark when He was going to bring the flood upon the earth in order to destroy the people who had corrupted themselves by mating with the fallen angels and their hybrid offspring. Noah was also the first with whom Father made a covenant Genesis 6:18. So, Noah, who was not living near any large bodies of water, began his tremendous daily construction of the Arkof which we have no idea of how old he was when he began to build the Ark or how long his task took, as Fathers Word does not say, but we know several things: (A) he entered into the Ark when he was 600 years old; (B) he did not have the modern tools which we have today; (C) he did not have the modern technology of ship-building which we enjoy today; but, (D) he did have Fathers direction and guidance on how he was to construct the Ark Genesis 6:14-16and every day he had to endure the snide remarks and ridicule of the godless for building this large floating vessel in the middle of dry land. For the etymology of the name Noah, we read the following in Abarim Publications: What the original designer of the masculine name Noah (נח) meant to say isnt immediately clear, but Noahs father Lamech appears to name his son Noah because this one will comfort us, using the verb נחם (naham see the names Nahum and Capernaum), which is the same verb that Isaiah used when saying, Comfort, O comfort my people... (Isaiah 40:1). Most commentators take the name Noah from the verb נוח (nuah) meaning to rest or settle down, but it may very well have been drawn from the verb נחה (naha), meaning to lead or guide: For a meaning of the name Noah, both New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List and Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names read Rest. Brown Driver Briggs (BDB) Theological Dictionary does not offer an interpretation of our name but does list it under the verb נוח (nuah) meaning to rest. Significantly, the competing lineage of Cain, ends up in the land of Nod, which means Restless Wandering.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H5146, - נֹחַ, - nôach, pronounced - noי-akh, and means: the same as H5118; rest; Noach, the patriarch of the flood: - Noah. Total KJV occurrences: 46.. Now from the Bible Gateways All men of the Bible, where we read: Rest. The son of Lamech of the posterity of Seth—the tenth from Adam. He died at the age of 950 years (Gen. 5:29, 30, 32; 6:8). The LXX version says that the name is a play on the statement, This same shall give us rest. THE MAN WHO BUILT THE ARK Nothing is known of the early life of Noah, who first appeared on the scene when he was five hundred years old. Evidently his father, Lamech, was a religious man and gave his son a fitting name, meaning rest. This much we do know about Noah, he lived in a time when men were universally corrupt, so much so that God said He would destroy the human race (Gen. 6:1-7). In the midst of an age of moral darkness, Noah was perfect in his generation. He walked with God and had a life radiant with righteousness. Intimate with God, he learned of His purpose to destroy mankind (Heb. 11:7), and was given the strange and almost impossible task of building a vessel large enough to shelter his family and a pair of all the birds and the beasts of that time. Noah set about the tremendous work of the Arks construction. Daily he had to endure the ridicule of the godless. At last the waters of judgment covered the earth, but all within the Ark were safe and saved. What a striking illustration the Ark affords of Christ, who preserves us from the flood of divine judgment. Here is an outline for the pastor to extend: I. Noah walked with God in spite of surrounding iniquity (Gen. 6:8-12). There were saints in Caesars household. II. Noah was obedient when appointed to a difficult task (Gen. 6:14-21; 7:5). III. Noah was remembered by God and delivered from death (Gen. 8:1). Romans 8:1 tells where we rest. IV. Noah, by faith, worked out his salvation (Heb. 11:7). See Philippians 2:12. V. Noah warned his neighbors of impending judgment (2 Peter 2:5). See Ezekiel 33:1-20. VI. Noah built the first recorded altar (Gen. 8:20). See Hebrews 13:10. VII. Noah was honored by God with an everlasting covenant (Gen. 9:12-17). See Hebrews 9:15..

                                        6:9-9:29 THE GENERATIONS OF NOAH.
                                           (Introversion.)
                                        6:9 Noah before the flood.
1A9
Genesis 6:9 These are THE GENERATIONS OF NOAH: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.   —>   This perfect in his generations is the key to understanding the how, why, and what, of Noah finding unmerited favor with Father. So, lets look at these words perfect, and then in his generations. In the Hebrew, in the Strongs Concordance, the word perfect is Hebrew word number H8549, - תּמים, - tâmı̂ym, pronounced - taw-meemי, and means: From H8552; entire (literally, figuratively or morally), also (as noun) integrity, truth: - without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright (-ly), whole.. Now lets finish the phrase and lets look at in his generations, we find that it is Hebrew word number H1755, - דּרss or דּור, - dôr or dôr, pronounced - dore or dore, and means: From H1752; properly a revolution of time, that is, an age or generation; also a dwelling: - age; X evermore; generation, [n-]ever, posterity.. So, we see that Noah was without blemish and undefiled in his posterity, his offspring his children.

But, this was the second usage of and translation by the King James translators of the word generations in this verse. So now lets go back and look at the first time and translation of the word in this verse. This time it is taken from H8435, - תּלדהss or תּולדה, - tôledâh or tôledâh, pronounced - to-led-awי or to-led-awי, and means: From H3205; (plural only) descent, that is, family, (figuratively) history: - birth, generations.. Now lets look at H3205, - ילד, - yâlad, pronounced - yaw-ladי, and means: A primitive root; to bear young; causatively to beget; medically to act as midwife; specifically to show lineage: - bear, beget, birth ([-day]), born, (make to) bring forth (children, young), bring up, calve, child, come, be delivered (of a child), time of delivery, gender, hatch, labour, (do the office of a) midwife, declare pedigrees, be the son of, (woman in, woman that) travail (-eth, -ing woman).. So, did Father mean that Noah had no sin? No, He did not mean that. Yes, Father declared that Noah was just righteous, but, that was not what Father was truly meaning. He was referencing their ancestry i.e. , descent, family, history, specifically to show lineage and declare pedigrees. In other words, Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives, all had not messed with the fallen angels.
                                            6:10 Noahs family.
1A10
Genesis 6:10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem (name; or, renown) (Shame), Ham (hot from the tropical habitat; or, Hot, sunburnt) (Khawmי) and Japeth (expansion; or, enlargement) (Yehי-feth).   —>   We read in Genesis 5:32, that Noah was 500 years old when he begat these three sons of his. The order of their birth is in inverse order in this verse as we can glean by reading Genesis 10:21. The introversion is because Shem, the youngest, will be the continuation of the Adamic Seed-line to Father being born in the flesh as His Only Begotten Son: Jesus Christ.
Shem
Shem=Shem was the youngest of Noahs three sonsGenesis 10:21but, in Fathers Word he is listed first because, it was through Shemthrough his son Arphaxadthat the seed-line to Father being born in the flesh as His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, would continue. Shems name meaning renown foreshadowed the greater name above every name before which, every knee shall bowLuke 3:36. In offering praise to Father, Noah said, Blessed be the Lord God of ShemGenesis 9:26. The only thing we know of Shem from Fathers Word, is that he had an un-named wife who, like Noah and his wife, Japheth and his wife, and Ham and his wife, were all perfect in their Generations, meaning that, they had not messed with or mated with the fallen angels. After the flood, Shem and his wife bare Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud and Aram. It was Shem and his elder brother Japheth who covered their fathers nakedness, which we read in Leviticus 18, means to lie with ones own mother, so what transpired when Ham uncovered his fathers nakedness, was that, he had incestuous intercourse with with his own mother, and Shem and Japheth tried to cover over that shame. Shem also received Fathers Blessing and also the CovenantGenesis 9. Shem returned Home to Father at the ripe old age of 630. For the etymology of the name Shem, we read the following in Abarim Publications: The name Shem is equal to the word שם (shem), which itself means name: The name Shem means Name, Fame or Reputation, or even Identity or Personality. But here at Abarim Publications were pretty sure that Shem wasnt named after his own fame or prowess but rather after the Name of the Creator, which in turn reflected all of his deeds, which in turn comes down to the whole of reality (as indeed theology is not the study of God, since God cannot be measured, but rather the study of everything as man knows God only through his works). For a meaning of the name Shem, New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List reads Name, Renown. Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names has Name, but adds Celebrated, Distinguished.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H8035, - שֵׁם, - shêm, pronounced - shame, and means: The same as H8034; name; Shem, a son of Noah (often including his posterity): - Sem, Shem. Total KJV occurrences: 17.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: name The eldest son of Noah Genesis 5:32. He was 98 years old, married, and childless at the time of the flood. After it, he, with his father, brothers, sisters-in-law and wife, received the blessing of God, Genesis 9:1, and entered into the covenant. With the help of his brother, Japheth, he covered the nakedness of their father and received the first blessing Genesis 9:25-27. He died at the age of 630 years. The portion of the earth occupied by the descendants of Shem, Genesis 10:21; Genesis 10:31, begins at its northwestern extremity with Lydia, and includes Syria (Aram), Chaldaea (Arphaxad), parts of Assyria (Asshur), of Persia (Elam), and of the Arabian peninsula (Joktan). Modern scholars have given the name of Shemitic or Semitic to the languages spoken by his real or supposed descendants. See Hebrew Language..
Ham
Ham=The middle son born to Noah when he was 500 years oldGenesis 5:32. Ham was the father of four sons: Cush, Mizraim, Phut or Put, and Canaan. Canaan was not born to Hams wife; but, his own mother after having incestuous intercourse with her; the account of which we can read in Genesis 9:18-26, which reads: Genesis 9:18 And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. [9:19] These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.   —>   Who is Fathers Word about? Him and His Seed-line, it is His Story. So, with that being said, in the phrase …and of them was the whole earth overspread, do not be mistaken and think it was only through Noahs sons descendants, that the entire earth was re-populated, as it was not, there were two of each flesh, in other words, two of each race or ethnicity, two from each of the sixth day creation who also were on the ark and then assisted in repopulating Fathers earth. [9:20] And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:   —>   So, after Father brought the flood which He brought in order to destroy those who were messing with and mating with the fallen angels and their hybrid offspring; Noah and his wife and his sons and their wives disembark the ark. Noah begins to fulfill his purpose of being an husbandman which Father had purposed for His seed-line beginning with Adam, then Seth. Noah planted a vineyard and upon the harvest of that vineyard, he crafts winethink deep on this brethren, as there is much to consider in Noah planting a vineyard: i.e., what does Jesus tell us in John 15? John 15:1 I am the true vine, and My Father is the husbandman.   —>   What kind of Vine are we talking about? Symbolically, a grape Vine, but also, a literal and Spiritual Vine, and Who is the Husbandman of this Vine? Father is! He is the root, as we were created by Him, He is our Father and we sprouted from Him, we are literally and Spiritually connected to Him. [15:2] Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit He taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. [15:3] Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. [15:4] Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me. [15:5] I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.   —>   So, Father is the husbandman and Christ is the grape Vine. What is the product of grapes? Of course, the fruit itself, but, we also get raisins; and grape juice; but more importantly, we get wine. What do we need in order to grow grapes? Water. Jesus is the Living Water, and His very first miracle was turning water into wine, and what do we Christians partake of during Communion? Wine, the very Lifeblood of Jesus. So, Noah drinks some of the wine which he crafted from the grapes he grew, his wine was very potent and he and most likely his wife as well, got drunk. No big deal really; except, Ham, seeing his parents were drunk, had evil in his heart, and took advantage of his own mother and lay with and had intercourse with her. Fathers Word does not record anything of her, nor her feeling or thoughts, so we cannot rightfully attribute, say or suppose anything to her on this. But, we know she became pregnant because of this evil act her son perpetuated upon her and her husband, Hams father Noah became angry and well find that he curses the offspring of this act by banishing him when he comes of age. [9:21] And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. [9:22] And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.   —>   …the nakedness of his father…=Lets turn to Leviticus 20:11 to let Father tell us the true definition of this phrase: Leviticus 20:11 And the man that lieth with his fathers wife hath uncovered his fathers nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.   —>   So, Ham seeing the drunkenness of his mother and thinking either she would not realize it was her son and not her husband; that she was too drunk to resist his advances; or she was passed out because of her drunkenness, foisted himself upon her. In either case; after he committed this abominal act; he came out and told his two brothers what he did. Now, with that being said; Father had not yet passed down the law of incest; so what Ham did was not yet law, so he at the time broke no law. [9:23] And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their fathers nakedness.
—>   Neither Japheth nor Shem partook of their brothers shameful act. The results of Hams sin was that their mother became pregnant and when the child was birthed they named this child Canaan; Fathers Word does not claim who named the child. Noah knowing that the child was not his, bannished him because Noah did not want to look at him everyday. There is nothing else recorded in Fathers Word of anything Ham did, so we can accredit nothing else to him. Fathers Word doesnt even record how old he was when he returned Home to Father. For the etymology of the name Ham, we read the following in Abarim Publications: This name Ham is identical to the adjective חם (ham), meaning warm, and also to the noun חם (ham), meaning father in law: For the meaning of this name Ham, Alfred Jones (Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names) confidently derives it from the verb חמם (hamam), meaning to be hot, and renders it Heat, Black. Then he goes off on the tried and commonly rejected ramble that connects blackness with sin. Jones rather reluctantly admits that Ham was the grandfather of Nimrod, the worlds first emperor, but quickly relativizes this feat by fantastically stating, no doubt [Ham] was the sole introducer of the worship of the sun, and thundering, even while the hand of God was bearing him up in safety in the Ark of gopher wood, the leaven of his horrid idolatry was working in his breast. What escapes the otherwise fine scholar is that: This version of the name Ham is also identical to חם (ham), father-in-law, from the unused root חמה (hmh) of which the cognates mean to protect or surround. In the Bible not blackness but whiteness is associated with sin. Miriam turned white because of her aggression against Moses second wife, this author emphatically disagrees with this next statement who was a Cushite and thus quite likely very black. And the bride of the Song of Solomon, often regarded as a type of the Church, was black as well (Song of Solomon 1:5). New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List simply reads Hot for Ham, but in view of the above, a closer rendering would be Passion or Intensity.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H2526, - חָם, - châm, pronounced - khawm, and means: The same as H2525, hot (from the tropical habitat); Cham, a son of Noah; also (as a patronymic) his descendants or their country: - Ham. Total KJV occurrences: 16.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: Hot, sunburnt. The name of one of the three sons of Noah, apparently the second in age (B.C. 2448). Of the history of Ham, nothing is related, except his irreverence to his father, and the curse which that patriarch pronounced. The sons of Ham are stated, to have been Cush and Mizraim and Phut and Canaan Genesis 10:6, Compare I Chronicles 1:8..

Japheth
Japheth=Japheth was the eldest son of NoahGenesis 10:21but, in Fathers Word, he is listed as being born after Shem and Ham because, it was through Shem that the Seed-line to our Father being born in the flesh as His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, would continue. He was born when his father was 500 years oldGenesis 5:32. Japheth was the father of Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. The only thing we know of Japheth from Fathers Word, is that he had an un-named wife who, like Noah and his wife, Shem and his wife, and Ham and his wife, were all perfect in their Generations, meaning that, they had not messed with or mated with the fallen angels. After the flood, he and his wife bare all their children. It was Japheth and his youngest brother Shem who covered their fathers nakedness, which we read in Leviticus 20:11, means to lie with ones own mother, which is what transpired when Ham uncovered his fathers nakedness. Ham had incestuous intercourse with with his own mother, and Japheth and Shem tried to cover over that shame. Japheth also received Fathers Blessing and also the CovenantGenesis 9. Fathers Word does not say how old Japheth was when he returned Home to Father. For the etymology of the name Japheth, we read the following in Abarim Publications: The name Japheth is identical to the verb used in Noahs blessing (Genesis 9:27), where it is commonly, but perhaps not all too correctly, translated with enlarge: May God enlarge Japheth….: For a meaning of the name Japheth, Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names proposes Enlargement. New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List reads Wide Spreading.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H3315, - יֶפֶת, - yepheth, pronounced - yehי-feth, and means: From H6601; expansion; Jepheth, a son of Noah; also his posterity: - Japheth. Total KJV occurrences: 11.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: enlargement. One of the three sons of Noah. The descendants of Japheth, occupied the isles of the Gentiles, Genesis 10:5, - that is, the coast lands of the Mediterranean Sea, in Europe and Asia Minor - whence, they spread northward over the whole continent of Europe, and a considerable portion of Asia..

                                            6:11-6:13 The earth corrupt.
1A11
Genesis 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.   —>   Lets look at these two words corrupt and violence in our Strongs Concordance. The word Corrupt in the Hebrew, is H7843, - שׁחת, - shâchath, pronounced - shaw-khathי, and means: A primitive root; to decay; that is; (causatively) ruin (literally or figuratively): - batter, cast off, corrupt (-er, thing) , destroy (-er, -uction), lose, mar, perish, spill, spoiler, X utterly, waste (-r). Total KJV occurrences: 146.. While the word violence is Hebrew word number: H2555, - חמס, - châmâs, pronounced - khaw-mawceי, and means: From H2554; violence; by implication wrong; by metonymy unjust gain: - cruel (-ty) , damage, false, injustice, X oppressor, unrighteous, violence (against, done), violent (dealing), wrong. Total KJV occurrences: 60.. So, during Noahs time, Fathers earth was in a state of moral unrighteousness and decay. Again, much like witnessing it come to pass today.
1A12
Genesis 6:12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.   —>   All flesh=Lets look at this word flesh in the Strongs Concordance, brethren. When we do, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H1320, - בָּשָׂר, - bâśâr, pronounced - baw-sawrי, and means: From H1319; flesh (from its freshness); by extension body, person; also (by euphemism) the pudenda of a man: - body, [fat, lean] flesh [-ed], kin, [man-] kind, + nakedness, self, skin. - Total KJV occurrences: 270.. Mankind. How and why is it, that man can read here in Genesis 6:12 and Genesis 6:13 with understanding; i.e., that, all flesh means mankind and NOT animals, because, as we know, it wasnt the animals which had corrupted themselves with the fallen angels. But yet, when we come to Genesis 6:17, Genesis 6:19 below, and Genesis 7, when were talking about who\what was on the ark man loses sight of all flesh and instead says it was only animals? For our answer to this question of mine, Ill quote Father from Jeremiah 4:22, which reads: Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge..

It was only Noah and his wife, and his sons and their wives which had not corrupted themselves with the fallen angels, all other races, ethnicity and peopleincluding the other Adamic peopleson the earth had.

Shortly, we too will find ourselves in the same situation when the angels will kicked out of heaven to come to this Age to prepare the way for satan s arrival. Are you as Revelation 9:4 states? Revelation 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.   —>   Though this is the fifth trump and satan doesnt show himself until the sixth trump, notice that hethe star which falls from heavenis on the earth a waiting to take over after the angels have prepared the way for him. He is about to open the pit which they have been held in. Notice also the polysyndeton of these next verses; meaning, much more is taking place than what actually has been said, just like during Fathers creation in Genesis 1:3-Genesis 2:25. [9:2] And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.   —>   What is this pit? It is the abyss which satan will be cast into at the end of this Age, and the beginning of Jesus 1,000 year millennial reign. Father is sending them and satan here to this Age, in order to test His children, to see who has studied His Word and knows the events which must take place prior to Jesus return. [9:3] And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.   —>   Here was the reason we came here: What is this smoke? It is the setting up of the people of this Age for the supernatural beings, the angels, and things, powers, which are about to happen. Just like happened when Father allowed satan to tempt Job, He set limits upon satan, likewise also here, Father has set limits on what the fallen angels and satan are allowed to do to those of this Age. This locust army which comes upon the earth, is satans army of demonic forces. They are the fallen angels, and demons, both coming with satan, and those who are already here upon the earth. The power in the Greek, is exousia, and it means authority, or power delegated by Father to them. If you are looking for bombs or fire to fall from heaven, or a nuclear holocaust, you have been misled. In the spiritual sense, this striking will be deadly spiritually deadly, for they will exert their authority in the same manner as a scorpion renders its prey: harmless and defenseless. [9:4] And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.   —>   Father will not allow any physical damage to any part of His earth. Not the grass, trees, or any physical matter you can think of. This is a spiritual war, and it is a battle for the minds of men, and the commitment of their souls to Him. Father is very specific as to what they can do. Their targets are only the people; The Anthropos, and in the Greek, it is the individual man, not any animal, and only as this verse states those who have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

What is in your forehead? Its your brain of course. As we saw in earlier chapters, the seal of God, is knowledge that is contained in His Word, the Scriptures. Father wants all of His children to know what He intends to do, and it is because of this, that John was brought to the Day of the Lord by Jesus, and told to write it down. Father has also given us many prophets, and the writings of His Apostles in the New Testament. As Jesus told us in Mark 13:23, there is nothing that is going to happen that Father has not told us in His plan, in His Word, the Bible.

Lets return now to Genesis 6:13.
1A19
Genesis 6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.   —>   We know that, unlike the destruction of the First Earth Age the katabole or as it is stated if its not translated, the foundation of the world. During this flood of Noahs day, only the people, i.e. , all those who were not in the ark with Noah, did Father destroy, not His earth. There was no billion year ice age and such with this destruction, only 40 days and nights of rain, and waters on the earth for one hundred and fifty days, or five months.

6:14-6:22 The making of the ark.
1A14
Genesis 6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shall pitch it within and without with pitch.    —>   The word pitch is used twice in this verse and has a different meaning in each use; so, lets look at both usages. In the first usage, in the Strongs Concordance, is Hebrew word number: H3722, - כּפר, - kâphar, pronounced - kaw-farי, and means: A primitive root; to cover (specifically with bitumen); figuratively to expiate or condone, to placate or cancel: - appease, make (an) atonement, cleanse, disannul, forgive, be merciful, pacify, pardon, to pitch, purge (away), put off, (make) reconcile (-liation). Total KJV occurrences: 102.. So, we see that kaphar, means to cover. kaw-farי is the also the only word for atonement in the Old Testament. We do find though, that the day of Atonement is Hebrew word number: H3725, - כּפּר, - kippûr, pronounced - kip-poorי.

So, that is only atonement which can keep the judgment from us. In the second usage, it is Hebrew word number: H3724, - כּפר, - kôpher, pronounced - koי-fer, and means: From H3722; properly a cover, that is, (literally) a village (as covered in) ; (specifically) bitumen (as used for coating), and the henna plant (as used for dyeing) ; figuratively a redemption price: - bribe, camphire, pitch, ransom, satisfaction, sum of money, village. Total KJV occurrences: 17.. kopher, as used here is a resin.
1A15
Genesis 6:15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.   —>   There were two different measurements for a cubit during the Old Testament times, depending upon the current kings arm (see Ap 51 III. 2. 1. 1) but, for our purposes here in Genesis 6:15-16, well figure that it was the longer, or the sacred cubit of 25 inches; which then makes Noahs ark approximately 7,500 inches, or 625 feet long, 104+ feet wide; and 62.5 feet high. To put this into perspective, a United States Navy, Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier is roughly 990 feet long; so, the ark was only 365 feet shorter.
1A16
Genesis 6:16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.   —>   Just like with us today, the window was for light.

The three stories are symbolic of, and represent the three different Earth Ages: the First Age when we were all in our Spiritual bodies; this, the flesh Age, and the Age to come when we are all back in our Spiritual bodies in the eternity with Father.
1A17
Genesis 6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.   —>   Notice the emphaticness of Fathers speech I, even I showing the depth of His displeasure and anger with the corruptness and perverseness of the angels coming and mating with flesh women, and that the women were accepting of them.

All flesh=Again, all the people of all the races, all of the rest the Adamic seedline, and all the rest of all the animals which are not in the ark with Noah and his family, will be destroyed.
1A18
Genesis 6:18 But with thee will I establish My covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons wives with thee.   —>   Lets look at this word Covenant in the Strongs Concordance, as it is Hebrew word number: H1285, - בּרית, - berı̂yth, pronounced - ber-eethי, and means: From H1262 (in the sense of cutting (like H1254)); a compact (because made by passing between pieces of flesh): - confederacy, [con-]feder[-ate], covenant, league. Total KJV occurrences: 284.. This is the very first usage of this word, and as it is the first usage, it is the first time that Father makes a covenant with man and that man at this time is Noah, because of his and his family not corrupting himself with the angels, thereby keeping their pedigree perfect.
1A19
Genesis 6:19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.   —>   Father instructed Noah to take two of all flesh, mankind. I know most who are reading, this have never heard of the sixth day creation of the races, but Father is very plain when He says this. He instructs Noah to take one male and one female of each race in order that they can start to replenish the earth after He destroys it. It is by this, that we have all the races, nations, ethnicities still to this day.

1A20
Genesis 6:20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shalt come unto thee, to keep them alive.   —>   It is because Father did not specify man, races, persons, or peoples here in this verse, that man and not Father, have screwed up what He says, and falsely believe that only Noah, his wife, and their 3 sons and their wives were the only humans on the ark. Father needed His earth replenished with all flesh mankind, Adamic seedline, and animal kind. There is no other way which all the races of the earth can be here, if Noah didnt take them onto the ark with him.
1A21
Genesis 6:21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee, and for them.    —>   Noah is instructed to not only take two of every animal, but he needs to also take enough that they may eat them for five months, and well find out that he also had to take enough to make sacrifice to Father with as well.
1A22
Genesis 6:22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.   —>   Noah is out in the middle of the desert, nowhere near any major body of water; but, by faith, he was obedient to Father. We should pray that we can be this obedient to our Creator, our Father, and not be like Noahs descendants, many hundreds of years from now, when Father will lead them up out of bondage to the Egyptians.

Can you imagine the ridicule that Noah endured by those who were around him for building this ark? How long did it take him to build it? Father's Word doesnt actually say, but we know from Genesis 5:32, that Noah was 500 years old when he begat Shem, Ham and Japeth, and Genesis 7:5 tells us that on the day when the flood of waters was upon the earth, Noah was 600 years old. No matter how you look at it, Noah was many days in building the ark, he didnt have, like we do today, a truck and boat trailer to tow this with, so there must have been very much ridicule that he had to endure.

But Noah didnt care what the people thought; much like we too have to feel when we truly study Fathers Word and then try and plant the seeds of truth to those around us. If Father has sent you on a mission for Him, set to it and get it completed, and dont worry about what others are thinking or believing. Do you think everyone that Noah told it was going to rain for 40 days and nights believed him?
